Visiting family, yummy food, growing boy

Spring is here! We are enjoying every day watching Boston discover new things. He has learned how to roll over from his back to his tummy - and he even sleeps on his tummy at night. Now he is learning to sit up too. He is HEAVY, laughs a lot, loves wrestling with daddy, and is such a smiley boy. We are figuring out the nap thing and it is working well. I have been on spring break this week so I have been around to help him stick to more of a schedule and now we can get him to sleep with only crying for a few minutes or not at all. :) yay!

A few weeks ago we went up to Boise to visit Chandler's family over a weekend. It was the perfect weekend! We loved every minute of being with them. And we got to see/stay in their amazing second floor addition. A-ma-zing. Boston loved laughing with Brooke and Kade and sleeping on aunt Paige. :) And I found out I am not TOO terrible at ping pong, but not so good at Hokie Golf. And we found out that Boston is going to have a boy cousin on the Egbert side of the family!

Chandler and I are trying to eat better, so I have really been trying to buy healthier things and make healthy and filling meals. I made stuffed squash with avocado sauce last night and it was awesome! I loved it - and it is so healthy! I found the recipe here - the Bready's are family friends and I really admire the smart eating they are doing and totally appreciate the recipe ideas because it helps me have some place to start from. :)

Life is good! Now just waiting for Chandler to finish this semester :)

Grandpa Egbert!

Thanks Aunt Shea for these cute onsies!

And thanks Kathy Egbert for this adorable outfit!

These are the stuffed squash! Yum :)
